they should all be jailed for 20+ years.
Interesting - in the last few days, I see increased number of domains from my pendingdelete watchlists grabbed by enom and not by snap. Likely it is an indication that the results of better-worded "Would you now prefer to use SnapNames for PengingDelete drops" poll would be less favorable for SnapNames.
Anyone else concerned about the backorders before the auctions? Surely those were fixed from time to time... I've said before, and ill say it again.. I' had many names that I had on backorder with snapnames, and a snapnames registrar acquired the domain, yet snapnames (Kjel) said they weren't successful. I guess some things we won't ever know.
Your lost because Domainsponsor still monetizes best for majority.NO - I WILL NOT USE ANY OVERSEE Services or sites ever!

halvarez to be named domainer of the year .
Rita Van Hall of Snapnames responded to our inquiry via instant messenger:
“Halvarez is definitely the domain economy stimulus-generator that President Obama would be proud to have as his chief financial adviser. Thanks to Halvarez, more domainers have spent more money bidding on Snapnames than ever, trying to trick and out-smart this outstanding domaining individual that is not – I repeat – is not affiliated with us.”

No thanks, GoDaddy's aftermarket has made me more money in one year then Snapnames has for me over the years. And I don't get screwed like I did with Snapnames, I bid $9 on a .com and I end up paying $200, oh! How! Stupid me for not noticing it earlier, proxy bid $200 and guess what, dude stops bidding at $195 and I'm stuck and lost $200 for a reg fee domain name. My loss???????????????? Are you DRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm disgusted by all this scandal and also disturbed to see how fragile our community is to suckers who steal our money and yet 50% of you still will hop on the wagon and take chances with a company that has hidden the facts from us since the scandal started.... and yet some dude ROB thinks he can convince us that they did not have anything to do with the scandal... give me a break, LIFES TO SHORT and I sure will not accept such FAKE A$$ comments from any company that points all the fingers to one PERSON. Maybe they can with some of us, but I aint one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD shield us and arm us against such SCAMMERS and FRAUDULENT individuals/companies who portray themselves as one of us, only to later steal from us. I will not accept any excuse or case that will present itself on one factor, ONE MAN OPERATION
I respect everyone's / Domainers opinions and will not dispute against their will! But please don't go and claim individuals like myself will loose anything from not doing any business with a scandals / fraudulent company that is involved in $$$ $$$ $$$ theft.
Long live GODADDY!
I kinda miss halvarez bidding alongside *sniff*
Seriously, whoever calculated their financial losses (money out of pocket) and refuses to take the rebate, good luck with the class action lawsuit. That will probably provide $10 rebates after all the money goes to the lawyers.
Only one auction I had bind on included Halverez. That is amazing.
18 total, 16.com., one dot.net and ONE MOBI and that was what the bidding was on!
See, goes to show you the guy has no class.
Now, I have to figure out exactly what I paid for that domain.
Yeah....but I have not got a rebate offer yet.....Halvarez was in many of my auctions but they are not accounting it correctly....
now that I have the history...I have to call them out on it. That really sucks as it is in the 4 figs for me....they want me to catch them..IT SUCKS
Obviously. I checked mine and there are no errors. That's why everyone should check their history, now that it's back in the accounts.

I checked all of my auctions at Snap. I was in 502 during the period from 4/10/05 through 12/31/05. Oversee.net has offered me $2836 + $701 in interest for 28 domains that I won where halverez affected the outcome. I could find no auctions that there consultant/forensic accountants missed where I should have been compensated. Based on this, I am going to send in my acceptance agreement to the settlement. The scandal is terrible news for Oversee and I want no part of a class action lawsuit. Class action lawsuits mainly benefit lawyers.

Ask your accountant or a qualified CPA if this is regular income or an adjustment from 2005. There is different taxation.
Adam, the email from Rust Consulting details the auctions affected by "halvarez" - and the amount per auction & interest is broken down and totaled, as a separate PDF document. That email links to a PDF agreement to be printed, completed and MAILED. If you haven't received the Rust Consulting email, you need to contact them per Snapnames.
