Is there a relationship between the value of domain name and the cpc value of the keywords in that domain name?

some sellers will display the cpc of a keyword to increase the desirability of the domain

however, imo and from experience, often times the cpc value given for a term or phrase will NOT BE the actual amount paid by adsense.

i've seen actuals vary from above cpc, to way below cpc



but this assumption is what drives many buyers to purchase

they have to have "something" to go on.... a gauge to gauge, against something, to ascertain whether it's worthy or not.

Only to domainers.

I have never had an end user sale where any of this was part of the discussion. The focus was on the name itself and its desirability.
