Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Guys, had the name LQWN.COM expire on me. GoDaddy via a reseller account says they sent 3 notices via email that it was expiring. Nothing in my junk box, nothing in my mail boxes and I get 1000 emails a day. I think I'd see that one. It just went to the 42 days and I get a note from my parking host (Moniker/Domain Sponsor) that I lost it and it was moved from my account. It expired on 10/31. As I mentioned, I never got any emails nor the letter that Godaddy sents out all the time for that final reminder. Any suggestions? I've called Godaddy, talked to a supervisor and he told me, sorry, not our problem. It's over and someone else owns the name. Looks like a Godaddy seller though Leasenames.com?
I'd like to hear some input. When I asked for a screen capture of the email requests, I was told they wouldn't do it.
It will be hard for you to get the name back since it is so far beyond the expiration. <30 days they might be able to help you.
This is why I use an unpublished email address for registrar contacts (not even in the WhoIs information). No spam, no offers, just registrar communications (plus I've been getting emails almost every day now about domains that are expiring soon).
