I just saw this domain in recent sales (Regcomfeb10port.com). They must have fixed it now then.
If I owned it I would have accepted a lot less - if I were buying I wouldn't pay that much for it - but for the right end user that is good value I think.
Certainly a good sale but not gouging by any means, like poker.org...

I would say too little to be honest with you.
Music is one of the strongest markets online, and consistently - over a long period of time.
I think the buyer got a good deal.
the way things are going... anyone who sells domains is lucky.

It's one thing to have a category killer domain name in an industry that's difficult to profit off of... but it's another thing to have a name for such a well-established category, that prompts the purchase of songs or music videos, which is all profit, given the lack of overhead, very inexpensive to buy, and habitual to purchase by the hordes. The high-capacity iPods are a testament to this.
The music videos act as a catalyst to prompt the song purchase. I think that whoever bought this has themselves a timeless investment and can prepare to profit off of not just song purchases, but advertising revenue as well.

i owned videohighlights.com once it was sold for 1500 only @ sedo so after seeing this i think i sold for less, but at that time 1500 looks good to me

MusicVideos.com is a category killer and high search volume keywords .com domain.
It deserves a much higher price.

possiblitiy for lots of upsells but no one buys music videos. still a very worthy name but i think the price is pretty fair.

kids buy music videos all the time for their ipods, I think it's only about a buck more than only buying the song, and some videos are fun to watch
