    "Not Found" and "No Match" in whois

    In recent weeks it seems like they have started to put "Not Found" and "No Match" within whois.

    Many whois sites like mine match these two phrases to display the available to register page.

    However since they started doing this some registered domains started showing as available........

    I first noticed this with Dotster and .org domains so we took out match "No Match" for available.

    But now even domains like :

    http://www.whois-search.com/results/?query=rainjam.com

    Contains :

    "The fact that your query returns "NOT FOUND" does not necessarily mean that the domain may be available for registration."

    So we taken out match "NOT FOUND" for available.

    But this means we can't show an available page any more because we have nothing to match to :

    http://www.whois-search.com/results/...dgsdgsdgsd.com
