    My sentiments precisely.

    Yes! My sense of direction isn't great at the best of times - nothing to do with being a woman, please note - so I can't figure out how to get where I want to go either. They're always doing that at the supermarket, moving everything around, and I hate it, although I know the reason: the psychologists tell them that if we get too used to knowing where everything is, we just head straight for what we want and don't bother looking at anything else that we might be tempted to buy off our shopping list. But I'd got used to sedo's stuff being along the side, and now feel as if the whole site has rotated, leaving me feeling seasick.

    I learned about sedo when I tried to buy a domain, went to its first page and show some other auctions too, finally I didn't buy the original domain I was looking for but another one I saw in the frontpage, that was yrs ago.
    sedo now seems to head into different ways of making money, certainly not from auctions.

    While it is nice to see companies updating their sites, I have to think that Sedo has really hurt themselves and their domain sellers with this new redesign. One of Sedo's great strengths has been their domain auctions. It's what new visitors encountered on the old design (page one) and where great domains were routinely sold.

    Now, however, these auctions are off the front page and not easily found. The exposure to the prime domains at auction is now gone from the main page and thus, the only winners in this new layout are the buyers who can find the auctions. They will have fewer contenders for domains, as fewer folks can find the domains for sale at auction, and thus often get lower prices on their domain buys. But this is bad for Sedo and bad for sellers, as lower auction prices means lower commissions and lower sale proceeds.

    Sedo, I have to agree with the folks above. Get the auctions highlighted boldly on page 1.

    Also, navigating the site is not as intuitive as before and is well more complicated. I'm not trying to be one of the old "don't ever change" kind of folks, but in this case, what is the significant value or benefit of this update? Right now it just seems to let down one of Sedo's strengths (auctions) and also make users struggle to navigate the site.

    Sorry Sedo, but I do hope these comments and many others can help as you consider his new redesign and it's future.

    I agree......Classic case of confused objectives.

    sedo declare on the front page that they are a:

    'Full Service Domain Marketplace' - ie:

    * Buy

    * Park

    * Sell

    ...ie be all things to everyone...

    The result is they are in danger of not being anything important, to anyone....

    Golden rule in business is to know exactly what your KEY Unique Selling Proposition (USP) is - then, centre your primary market positioning around that USP.

    If you offer multiple services, then you've got to decide which is your KEY service - If you try to push several services equally, you generally dilute your impact for ALL your markets.

    I think sedo have fallen into this trap, with this design.

    What does Sedo make most of its money from?...Auctions?...Parking?...Selling & brokerage?

    Problem with this site design is, none of those services are easy for the customer.....Sedo doesn't appear to stand for anything, in particular, anymore.

    It'll mean LESS trade for Sedo, in ALL categories.

    I suggest they decide what is really their core business - and, build the entire site around that.

    ...Not some hybrid 'all things to all people' diluted concept.
