Selling domains on Afternic's premium/expanded listings

I've added a few domains on Afternic's premium / expanded listings that have received little to no visits.
Recently I noticed a few msg's on Afternic stating that a few domains should be moved to Network Solutions for $9.99

Do I have to move my domains before they appear on the Premium / Expanded listings or what?

You do have to move then (transfer them) if your doing premium promotions...expanded you do not

Have you noticed any major difference in sales between the two?

no..i was with them last year..not one offer....trying again this year but taking a little bit more marketing approach so will see what happens....nothing so far but its been just a bit close to 2 months

Speaking of Afternic...

I've never paid this $19.95 membership fee they've got. I was speaking to an account rep yesterday about putting a portfolio on Afetrnic.

Is it true that I have to pay $19.95 for the privilege of paying a 10 - 20% commission?

Pretty cheeky, if so.

Am I missing something?

Yea, I had to pay the $19.95 just to be a member. Only reason I paid it was because of the fact that so many people recommended it over the other auction platforms. Still haven't been able to sell one domain yet
