Domain name sales picked up in late January and early February with three six-figure sales according to Domain Name Journal’s list of top reported sales in the fortnight to 6 February. The sales were action.com ($270,00 through sedo), TS.com ($186,00 also through sedo) and stockbrokers.com ($185,000 in a private sale).

There was also the combined sale of gay.de and gay.at for a combined price of €165,000 ($226,050). But Domain Name Journal requires the domains to be “individually priced within a portfolio sale” and unless is the case, “can't break them out for inclusion on [their] charts, which is unfortunate in this case as Gay.de would almost certainly rank as the year's highest country code sale to date and Gay.at would have been in the top five.”

Given the sales chart was for two weeks, the chart is a top 40 and saw Sedo take 26 of top sales, about par for the course, while .COM names accounted for 30 sales.
