Question Is there any hope to get some tech support by DRT staff?

Note: I posted this days ago in the Platinum Lounge hoping to get an answer from Luc or someone working for him/Lezon but nothing and I`m getting really frustrated, DRT won`t scan .org (it shows all .org as available) plus other extensions have issues.
In the past when trying to contact Luc either it took ages to get an answer or no answer at all.
At least if I know that he stopped the customer service then I would give up.

    Thanks

It would probably help if you emailed, or PMed me.

I mean, if you want t get in touch with me, wouldn't it make sense to contact me directly via PM or Email, or DRT bug-support message instead of posting a thread someplace? I don't check every forum every minute, but I do check my emails constantly.

There is a fix for this, and it was caused by the registry changing web whois queries from domain to IP.

I'm actually finalziing a big update that will feature a bulk TM scanner, an enhanced word parser with auto-language detection and a few other features. Some customers already have access to this tool but it's in beta.

    Thanks,
    Luc L

Hi Luc, sorry, I don`t mean to create hostility at all.

I have been away for family and personal problems and after a year I read a few posts and they all complained about you not answering their emails....just search DRT on the SEARCH option of the forum and you`ll see it so I thought it was the same. Ok I will email yo unext time if I need to.

And ok, I will wait the update then, at least I know I can still use the software in the future.

But there is an old problem. In create domain lists, if I choose the .au ext then it won`t scan because its com.au and .nz is (like .co.uk) .co.nz while the italian .it does not scan anymore at all probably because the registry has changed as well. I wonder if you check the extension one by one or rely on feedback because I am happy to test all extensions for you if you need it.

No problem bro. And I'm sorry to hear about family and personal issues.

I realize my support has been a little slow in the past, but the last 4 months I've been in full swing and answering all questions and addressing all issues within a few minutes of receiving them so rest assured everything is back to normal.

Sorry about the inconvenience and confusion.

Please PM me a list of any domain that doesn't scan. There are some ccTLDs that have issues simply because the registries keep changing the output format, and with some 100 ccTLDs it's hard to keep up unless I get specific bug reports from users.

    Thanks!
    Luc L.

Ok, great, from now I`ll email if I need to.
Yes I know there are too many extensions but you know, I`mnot talking about Kiribati ....I`m talking about Italy, Australia and New Zealand which are popular ccTlds....well...New Zealand not too much due to its small population to be honest.

    But thanks.
