Transferring my .IN/.CO.IN - Is it risky ?

    Hi all,

Now my .IN/.CO.IN are registered at domain24 (germany)... prices for renewal are 10euros/14 euros which is really expensive imo.

All my dn are set to renew on 2/16/07 (I know Iam late) but will it be still possible to transfer now and renew in another registrar ?

If yes, what registrar will you advise me ?

I dont want to lose my domain names but thats so expensive...

Thx for your time reading and answering !

    Cheers

    C.

Prices are not expensive. That's where I had mine. However, due to consolidation purposes I move them to Enom. My cost is $19 there, or a buck more expensive than domain24. Transfer was fast and smooth.

By the way, to get the domain's authentication code, click on the green checkmark next to each domain. Took a while to find that one!

Re: Transferring my .IN/.CO.IN - Is it risky ?

I transfered mine to Whiz.in last year. Went just fine, and they have good pricing:
.co.in: USD 6.89 (both new regs and transfers)
.in: USD 12.79 (new regs; transfers are USD 12.69)
Site is a reseller for Directi, owned by a fellow 'domainer'.

Maybe you could contact them to see if they feel you have enough time left for transfers.
