Agree it's a big keyword; extension is .org (see auction link above). If the transaction closes this will be the third highest, public .org sales of all time.

Domain TLD SalePrice SaleDate SaleThru
Sexe org $151,400 Jun 08 Private
Date org $150,349 Dec 06 SnapNames
Voyance org $134,307 Oct 09 Sedo Auction

Just 1 bidder makes it look suspicious.. but we can always keep a tab on sedo's front page listing

lol
this never sold in a million years

its alexa 1.3 million, a mickey mouse 2 quid site, covered in adsense , 1 bid and sent to auction on 90k euros? like you would send to auction

the only way it could get to this price (and would have to be a better name and site) is if sedo directly brokered it, then it would never see an auction

totally agree...that is no developed site....a few paragraphs on each page just for "some content"....with adsense all over the place.....

Alexa rank is really not accurate for french websites AFAIK.

This sale (if it takes place) is obviously based on the search engine rankings and the earnings of the current website.

FYI voyance.net (domain name only) sold for $31250 in 2008

IMO this was a case of 'must-have the right keyword' in spite of the TLD.

Why would somebody fake a Sedo sale? What do they have to gain?

I have few decent .org's lets see people like it or not, but few domainers have already labeled it "junk"!

AutoDeal,org
Entrain,org
CaliforniaStore,org
ColoradoOnline,org
OregonOnline,org
MassachusettsOnline,org
LouisianaOnline,org
PokerBasics,org
QatarTravel,org

P.S. if you think this is spam, please dont quote it and I will edit my post to remove domain names from here

Some ppl do that to try and get their domains into Sedo auction in the hope of starting a bid war amongst potential buyers or end users. But most of them fail cuz everyone has their own opinion about what is premium & what is junk!!
