its an excellent place to keep premium domains , also has E-Lock feature in which a domain can only be modified after a fabulous resprentative confirms on the phone with you if you have approved the changes.

They are hands down the BEST registrar out there for safety of your domains.
Also, if you do business in bulk levels, they'll offer you wholesale pricing. They are one of the largest portfolio owners in the world and built the system to protect and manage their domains, then opened it up to other people after the fact.
They also do more upgrades to the interface than any registrar out there, they're constantly making improvements, taking customer suggestions, etc and continuously have the most cutting edge interface and management tools.

Yes, I agree. Fabulous has one of the slickest interfaces I have seen, both for their domains and for parking stats...

Yes, I like their interface and would keep all domains listed to keep track, including those registered elsewhere.

i love this E-Lock feature fabulous has, seems like a pretty good way to lock your domain down, any disadvantages to such a feature?

What I like most about Fabulous as a registrar is you actually have people who answer your emails or posts on these boards, they always get back with me quickly, unlike some other registrars, I have one registrar that takes them a week to respond to my emails imagine trying to stop a name being transferred out when they dont respond

At this stage it was just ideas being thrown around, but we have been discussing the possibility of offering more extensions. I'll let you know when I have more concrete information.

    Hi Acro,

We do offer URL Redirection, however it's only available to Wholesale/Monetization accounts. For more information please view our FAQs.

Thanks Mike. Not sure what type of account I have, but as I am not interested in using Fabulous for parking, is that the only way to use host records @Fabulous in order to implement URL forwarding? Most other major registrars do that; some even offer WHOIS shield for free. It'd be great to be able to use URL forwarding on the small percentage of domains I need that feature for - instead of setting up my own DNS etc.

    Hi Acro,

To utilize the URL Redirection we offer, domains must be on our DNS. Then all you need to do is go to the "Traffic Control" section and set up the custom redirects.

Drop me a PM with your Fab username and I'll see what type of account you have.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Sorry Acro - we do need to do a bit of work on our FAQ/Help files. It's definitely on the list of things to do, but always seems to get pushed aside for other things.

Let me know if you need assistance with anything else.

    Cheers,
