Thanks for sharing your list. I think you took the better route by registering mostly Spanish words. You have some very good names. These are a few I like: atleta, cigarrillos, cocineras, criada, danzas, ensaladas, floristas, gimnasia, lucha, mesero, pintor, profesores, programador, alfombra, lesbiana.

A few others I don't like that much, like deberes, dependiente, dueno, entierro (funeral or funerales are better), fontanero (in Mexico we use plomero), occupaciones (typing error? the right spelling is ocupaciones), profesore (the right spelling is profesor or profesores), secretario (secretaria is a lot better), vacacione (the right form is vacaciones).

A few of your picks were also in my watching list. I finally picked a bit over 50 names, almost all in Spanish, so my strategy was very similar to yours.

    Good luck!

Mibworld, could you give me your opinions on ENTREGA(.mx)?

I've been relying on Google for my translations and this is the one domain of mine that I'm a little bit unsure about.

How commonly used is this word?
What kind of website/service do you think it would be suited for?

    Thank you

The lists are finally coming out, and some nice names above. Mine in the order I regged them are:

    wireless
    muchacha
    fernando
    robert
    roberto

might pick up a few more.

what route are people going with their .mx - parking, mini-site or development?

I have my names parked now as I shop around for development companies with an international spanish background. The 3 with the highest traffic right now I'm going to throw some decent money behind them in development. The others such as islas.mx are obviously suited for affiliate and mini-sites or portals. I plan on offering emails with @Fed.mx, @Fam.mx, @Med.mx and @Man.mx. Carlos.mx I plan on throwing a Search engine on there or another email site. Don't plan on leaving any parked as I don't think the true value and potential of the .mx space will be realized until a year or 2 from now. So I made sure to reg the names for at least 2 years and won't be selling until such time. (I had wireless.mx on my watch list)

Entrega is a fairly good name. It has 1900 google exact searches and some advertiser competition. It means delivery (as in package delivery). It is the imperative form of the verb "Entregar" (Example: entrega este paquete a Juan / Deliver this package to John).

The most valuable verb forms in Spanish are usually infinitive and imperative (not always).

It's a quite common verb in daily language, and it could be used for a package delivery company or any other company related to delivery of products or services (pizzas, etc.).

    Good luck!

I agree with you. Parking revenue will be minimal for some time, and reseller prices are not very good. I also have a strategy of combining development and targeting end users. I think it could take anything from 2 to 5 years for the extension to mature, but I've already received several offers (no transaction completed yet).

Is the word muchacha used a lot? From my search I've seen chica and chicas are used more, but they seem to mean the same thing...

Brasil is the common Spanish usage of Brazil

Yes, muchacha is used a lot in Mexico. It's an informal word applied to young women (including teens or even pre-teens). Chicas might be used more in other countries, like spain. Chicas also means "small" (manos chicas / small hands), so the number of results in this case could be misleading.

gato, mariposa and camionetas usadas are good names and have obvious uses. Fuego and loco are brandable but it could be hard to find an end user or an idea for development. Once (eleven) could receive good traffic in the future because there's a tv channel with that name. It could also work as a soccer site (the number of players in a team are eleven).

Gaming names always have a lot of traffic potential, but are difficult to monitize and there is a lot of competition.

The correct Spanish spelling is Brasil.

I'm not sure about your English names. I like guitars and sales.

    Good luck!

    Just purchased MercadoDeValores.mx (Stock Market)
I actually purchased it almost a week ago and Eurodns took that long to process it. Has any one else faced problems with them with .mx purchases? I know most of us remember their .eu fiasco.
