There is no catch, no transfer fees, you legally own them, yes you can transfer, renewal price is the standard renewal price (currently $7.77 / year). The only reason they are free is due to a special that Afilias is giving to registrars. These domain names will be the same as any other DomainSite domain name registration.Originally Posted by clemzonguy

If your balance is $0.00, then you can skip the credit card section and just use the "use available balance" option.

what a great deal, its so awesome to see 10 domains come up, with $0.00 showing up beside each one and as the total
I've ordered two....pretty much ones that I held out on b/c I didn't want to pay the $6.95 at ENOM so I guess it's worth getting free now and afilias will make up the money in the long run and jump ahead of .biz where the $4.95 really hurt matters this past year as a lower priced option.
