Before you buy a traffic domain, verify its stats - new & free service

When you buy a domain that someone says has traffic, how can you be sure? Surely you don't trust a screenshot

I know I've been ripped off before.

That's why I'm proud to release DNW Certified Stats, a new service that verifies parking stats directly from the parking company. It's simple and free to use.

Interesting service Andrew. Only applicable if you use the domain currently parked? Will you check Adsense for domain?

good idea, but i couldn't get pass that long ass TOS, just too many "if you's and agree to's" to be bothered with.

especially when i consider how many domainers have actually questioned the stats of domains i've sold in the past and whether i care if they don't believe them or not.

but good idea

i remember when dcg had his "parking site", one could just post a link to stats for verification.

Andrew this sounds pretty interesting. Will go ahead and sign up for the service. Will it stay free or do you plan on charging in the future?

It will be nice to have Fabulous, Parked and Adsense as well.

Perhaps, but wouldn't it be nice if people who sold you domains would verify them for you? Think of it from the buy side too.

I plan to keep the basic service free. The idea is to add value-added services in the future they may cost something.

Parked is next.

Its not a bad idea, just one that will not turn a profit due to lack of interest..jmo. Maybe Ive been watching too much Shark Tank or Dragons Den lol

He could tie an escrow service into this and provide escrow even for peeps that don't need the stats.

This looks like an interesting tool that takes away the need for e.g. taking traffic screenshots, clearing the images up, uploading or emailing them etc.
However, it doesn't resolve the issue of fake traffic; someone can easily pump up traffic and then create a certificate.
Also, because PPC accounts contain not just data related to domains but also banking and tax information, I am not exactly comfortable with sharing that info, even if it doesn't get stored permanently.
