Luc, you never responded when I had sent you a PM why DRT reports non-idn names as available when they weren't. I even sent you an example of one it said was available when it wasn't. Hope this "bug" has been fixed with the next patch that will be released.

I love Luc's tool and all, but saying it is the best kept secret of BIG domainers is a complete farse. The only value of owning a .net with high overture not on the ext. is by developing and praying to get high ranking on SERPs. The real secret of big domainers is paying big money for big domains.

taboo... i got two words for you ... 'Adam Dicker' (who is the owner of this forum). Go ahead and read up some of Adam's interviews, do some research on him and go through some of his newsletters here and you will know that he was not a big investment domainer when he started. He used various domain research tools, simple common sense and a lot of hard work to get to where he is at today.

Any monkey and his uncle with a truckload of cash can pay big money for big domains. It is people like me (and 99% of the dnf population) who dont have the luxury of huge bundles of cash, who have to rely on all the domain intelligence we can gather to advance as a domainer.

The only value of owning a .net with high overture not on the ext. is by developing and praying to get high ranking on SERPs.

Here's further proof that you are wrong:

I bought a domain 'advance loan . net' (around 6 months back) right here on dnf after doing some research on the keywords. A couple of months ago, I found the time to develop it and laid out a basic site on it with Adsense and a couple of Affiliate banners and linking it with a link exchange community.

And here's the best part.... it ranks on msn.com at the FIRST AND SECOND place for the keyword 'advance loan' which is searched 628 times/day as per SEOToolset and 164 times/day on US Ovt.

And I certainly did not 'pray' for getting these rankings
