I've seen quite a large number of people looking for a copy of ccTLD zone files. For most ccTLD's, these were never made publically available. For the ones that were, the value of them is negligable as so many new domains have been registered, and so many no longer exist since the last released zone file (e.g. the last .uk zone file is from ~2003). So what's the next (or the) best thing then?
There are ccTLD domain name lists available at viewdns.info/data for a number of different ccTLD's including .au, .de, .in etc. These lists are of valid, registered domain names for each ccTLD.
Sample contents:
Code:
0--0.co.de
0--lll.de
0--mm.de
0-0-0.de
0-0-7.de
... etc.
These files are a useful tool for domainers as it allows you to help target potential buyers for domains in your portfolio, as well as possibly identify a niche market that is doing well in one ccTLD but not present in another. There are many uses of the data.
Hope this is useful to everyone!
P.S. we can also compile custom data lists. If you have anything specific you're looking for, shoot us an email (feedback at viewdns.info) or private message.
