Competition – Design a logo for USAGuide.info

[Leading Names]

OK folks I know how much you enjoy a good competition so I’m going to run a competition to design a logo for USAGuide.info which I plan to get developed within the next week or so.

The competition will end 48 hours from this post

Cash prise for the winning logo is $40, which will be sent via PayPal as soon as the competition is over…

Guidelines…

None at all, design whatever you think will work best, as the site isn’t started yet there is no colour theme to work to and the logo doesn’t have to be a specific size.

I do have a suggestion to all potential creators of Logos.

Yes, they look create in color. But, what happens when it is in
"black & white" or the original is photocopied.

If you use red as a background, whatever is over it will be lost.

I doubt that Rob is going to use the logo outside of the internet. But, you should take that into consideration when making a logo.

Red as a background = Very bad design

I don't think Rob was looking for a $1000 logo design. I think he as you suggested plans to use the logo for just the site itself. Of course you'd also design various sizes and colors so the client had options. In this case, a logo was created for a stand-a-lone site.

btw: Most travel sites have white backgrounds (for faster loading) because they tend to get graphic heavy anyways.
