Country: | Different kinds of domainers! I wrote an article about (my perspective) on the different kinds of domainers there are -
The Investor
The Flipper
The Developer
The Builder
The Monetizer
The Broker and
The provider
Here's the complete article - http://www.mwzd.com/2008/04/10/the-d...-of-domainers/
What really kicked me is that Sahar commented on it - http://www.conceptualist.com/2008/04...-of-domainers/
Hope this is right section
Just had to share, cheers!

Country: | Tony, thx for your comment. Lord Brar is a mod at DNF, I'm sure he'd be happy to show you what he's got. Adrian - last couple of sites I've seen are ChiliSauce.info (sold), FightPromo.com, GordonBrown.info
wmloz - They're monetizers too?
Acro - they're there in every category
Krossat - doesn't qualify as a Domainer. Bottom feeders exist in all business.
sayinMedia, ArjunDhawan, hyro - thx for the comments.

I usually have about 20-30 sites that i'm working on at a time.
Some I keep, Some I sell, depends a lot on what they are about. |

DNF$: 2,935 | There are two types of domainer: Winners and Losers.
It would seem that there is much more being won than lost, but because the big winnings are distributed amongst a very select few, it would seem there are many more losers than winners.
The problems seems to be that one of hope of experience. Too many small investors throwing money at complete junk and forming small cabals to egg one another against all reason.

Smart decision and smart decision, and dumb decisions are dumb decision at whatever stage of the game they are made. I know a lot that missed out on the initial rush, that were neither old or rich, but will still make it by intelligent investment based on sound analysis. I think you will find that Frank Schilling also fits that group.
