Do you own a > $50,000 name ?

Hi all. If you have a valuable domain name that you think is worth $50,000 or more, I would love to list it on VIPdomains.com for you. There is NO fee EVER. If an interested buyer submits a bid, I forward his info directly to you.

What do I get out of it ?

#1 - I'm trying to create the Ultimate showcase of available domain names. (better than those other sites, the ones that will list crappy names for high prices).

#2. - The only banner I will ever have on the site is for my GoDaddy reseller - GreatNics.com . I want GreatNics to get more customers.


I currently have some of my own names listed there as filler, but they are Not Worthy of VIP domains. So please help me replace MY junk with Your Treasures.

Maybe 50K is too much but for ccTlds you could make 5K - 10K ?

Thanks Italian. It all depends on the Quality of the name. If you have a one worder, or 3 letter, that'd be ok. I just want to make the site Better than G.D's...

I have a pair of shoes that are worth $10,000 simply due to the fact that they were worn by me and in my own completely unbiased opinion, that makes the shoes worth $10,000.

By the way, Lilies.com is a good name. My comments above are just to show that it's very difficult to peg a price on something just because you think it should be worth a certain figure.

If the owner thinks it should be listed for a certain price (ie: 1,000,000) and I tend to agree with him, it gets listed. Even if I think his 1,000,000 name is only worth 500,000 , who really knows what the buyers out there are thinking ? Announce.com sold for twice the estimates that everyone on this board gave it......
We all know what the very very best names are. I know that I don't own any....
It IS very hard to peg a price, but in reality when you see the Mona Lisa, you don't think "that's junk".

With all due respect, Picasso has passed on domains with professional appraisals in the mid 6 figures too. So it's all a matter of perspective.

He's a great guy, with a great site. I've listed a few there myself.

Your domain and site are great. I wish you a lot of success making it the best domain auction website.

My advise is to focus on the sales more than the number of domains listed. If you have 1.000 premium domains listed and no sales, the owners will de-list the names and the site wont get any fame.

Thanks You just made me think of something very important. I might need to put a place for "Names sold via VIPdomains". But I'm unsure if I should do that as I want to keep All transactions Confidential so buyer and seller are protected as these are deals between those 2 people only (I don't get a cut or an escrow fee).
I know if I sold a name for $100,000 in a private transaction, I wouldn't want it broadcast all over the net so the i r s can start snooping....
