Domain Rating Script for Sale : $200.00 - only 10 scripts will be sold

hey everyone

myself and 207 (real name Jason and is a mod here) have been involved in a joint project for the last month or so.

We've went through a lot of hassle with a few different programmers who didnt get us a script that we thought was good enough. Finally we have a script ready was scripted for us by a fantastic php programmer from Bulgaria - thankfully it was worth the wait.

We have decided to sell this script, however we are limiting the sale to 10 copies, which i will go into detail why soon.

Here are the main features of the script :

* Powered by mysql database
* Programmed in PHP
* All aspects of the site can be amended via templates
* Every aspect of the site can be changed including Categories, Domain Extensions, Price Ranges, Meta Tags, Allowed domains per user, minimum number of votes for domains to be listed in top list
* NewsLetter facility available in admin panel
* Script has install.php file which adds sql database etc
* Very descriptive and lengthy documentation comes with script which details installtion and modification procedures
* Site is incredibly easy to modify and should be easily integrated into most other php scripts


How would someone make money through this site?

A site like this would recoporate the cost pretty quickly. Here are some ways in which money money could be made through the site

* Google Adsense : Domain Name ads on google are sometimes a few dollars a click (ive made over $100.00 in the past month alone via my web sites)
* Affiliate programs : CJ, FineClicks, Clixgalore etc have a lot of domain and Hosting related domain names
* Sell Advertising : You could sell advertising directly to someone with a web development related site

However i think the greatest way of making money with this site is to sell your own domain names, advertise your domain registration or hosting site etc.

Will support be given to any buyers of this script

Yes definately. Either myself or Jason will help out as much as i can. To be honest, those of you with basic html skills will be fine and the documentation is very good as well. However, if someone is still having problems ill give them my work email and ill help them out no problem

What is the price of the script and why are you only selling 10 copies? Are there any Rules

The price of the script is $200.00 per copy. Only 10 copies will be sold. This means that including my copy and Jasons there will only ever be 12 copies of this script on the web. This will avoid the script being saturated on the web. we hope you understand that this is in everybodys interest to abide to this rule.

Rules :

* You may only use this script on one site
* If the site is sold - your right to the script goes to the seller - this applies to myself and Jason as well
* You may modify the script in any way you want.

Payment

I can send the script to anyone who sends me the money before tomorrow evening as can Jason . Failing that, please contact Jason (member name 207) about paying for the script as i will be working away from home all week (i can still provide email support at work - i just cant access my home email address).

I have traded with many members on this site before (although i havent traded much in the last few months). Jason is an experienced trader as well not to mention a moderator of the site. However, if you are still unsure about dealing with us please feel free to post a thread asking for feedback from fellow members who have dealt with us in the past. (dont worry - we wont take offense )

Since you're sure the site would recuperate cost quickly, why not offer to charge on a royalty basis... Say $50 plus 10% of all advertising revenue.

Then again, I'm not in the business of rating domain names.

we would be willing to sell the script for $50.00 but only if we were sure we'd sell enough copies - ie. the 10 copies rule would have to be 40 copies

we have to ensure we recouporate the time and money we have invested into this

in theory 10% would be a good idea - in practice it could never work
if we get enough people wanting to buy the script at $50.00 then we will sell it at this price

to buy the script outright (ie. no one else would have the script) we would have to charge $1500.00+

Price reduction, $100 for non-exclusive copies, $1000 for semi-exclusive meaning your copy, mine and Kevins will be the only copies.

Available copies depends on how many people are interested. If you run any sort of domainer site this would work perfectly with it and would keep people coming back.

im not saying i deleted it - i never delete anything website related. I travelled in asia and autralia last year for a few months and im away travelling for 4 months just now - just got back from cambodia, vietnam and laos - back in bangkok to meet a friend.

Ive not really been at my home pc for some time - i usually just maintain my websites through net cafes etc when travelling - which is why im not sure if i have the script anymore

actually - someone i sold he script must have passed the script on again. It somehow got to the turnkey reseller site http://www.prozilla.com - they had modified about 10 lines of code. I contacted them twice and advised them that they were using a private script and asked them who sold them it. My best guess is its the guy that actually designed the script but i had lost his email address. Regardless its difficult in a situation like that to get anything back.

Im back in about 2 months and if i find it you, and anyone else here for that matter can have a copy
