Domaining.com and DNGator.com are domain aggregators.. about the easiest website in the world to develop. Waste of time, effort, and money.

Yes, the easiest web site in the world for *others* to develop. Because I'm waiting for your contribution in the next 10 minutes, Thomas, if it's that easy to create, deplore and maintain.

I see a lot of "sour grapes" posts. Perhaps no service should be offered for free, that's what I'm tending to believe. The moment one opens their mouth to complain should come *after* they have graciously opened their wallet.

No matter what you or anyone else does, there will always be people who knock it or criticize it. You need to make the best decisions for you and your business and not worry about what others will think, unless of course the opinions of others will impact your business.

Referrer #3 Namebee.com - 774 visitors
Referrer #25 DNGator.com - 43 visitors
Point taken.

And, another reason to know the in depth bowels of google analytics - powerful stuff.

Again, like I mentioned - just made up numbers on my part.

So, is Elliots Blog more valuable based on the traffic it receives? or more valuable based on its usage in the domaining industry?

Tough one to answer. One is related to the other.

Without widespread readership and usage in the domaining industry there would be no traffic (a natural assumption).

But I'll bet you value all those back links and seeing your site mentioned on other sites more than anything. If 75%+ of the domaining industry were reading your blog then that says more to me about the perceived (and real value) of the site (and its content) than traffic stats.

I must have missed that. He did offer free advertising but you had to give him a free hard link with link juice in exchange for a spot in his banner rotator. Some deal.

I'm surprised Francois bothered buying up competition with only 1% of his traffic. PR stunt perhaps.

I always liked dngator.com. Sad to see it go. I hope acro didn't sell it cheap.

Congrats to both.

But what is the benefit of being listed there? I find it surprising most domain registrants would want to be publically identified as being a "domainer" what with its mostly negative stereotype

The ad exchange was restricted to 10 spots. Sorry you missed out - but then again I would not list "adult cam" sites.

Funny how every Joe Blow and their uncle wants to take a piss on a business deal. If you need entertainment, Michael Jackson's funeral is on tv.

That won't be disclosed as part of the agreement.

Well, you don't have to. There is facebook, DNFaces.com etc. But as a project and free product, it's commendable.

Not really, you and Francois both went public on a controversial deal. Surely you expected a bit a backlash on your anti monopoly stance.

Sour grapes, Bionic. Please save the word "controversy" for your tits and ass web sites.

Nobody a) forces you to read Domaining.com b) stops you from creating your own aggregator.

Commentary that even hints of "PR stunts" is despicable when a deal is closed.

Now, you can beat a dead horse all you want. But I don't take BS from those that safely sit back and comment on a game they never played a minute for.

Was that banner in your sig part of the deal? Cause that's the very definition of PR stunt.

ENOUGH. The sale or announcement of sale wasn't a PR stunt. Stop making a big deal about it.

A PR stunt is when a deal that appears to be a deal is not a deal. What was part of the sales agreement is not part of *your* business or anyone else's for that matter. As a pornographer, you should know that.
