Project Care.com has launched Katrina Help.com with the objectives of assisting the survivors of Hurricane Katrina, raising money for the survivors (money will be sent directly to the Red Cross, not Katrina Help.com), honoring those who died in the hurricane, and educating the public about the hurricane.
The site has been live for a few days and is receiving extremely high traffic, not only due to type-in traffic for Katrina Help.com, but also due to other high traffic domains that are being forwarded to the site.
Through the grace of God, a fine gentleman by the name of R. Moneyhan, as well as several citizens from the city of Tulee, Florida, donated Katrina Help.com to Project Care.com. They are angels.
And work has continued nearly around the clock since the domain acquisition.
The survivors of Hurricane Katrina need our help.
Katrina Help.com and Project Care.com are requesting that everyone donate whatever they can to the Red Cross.
Their number is 1-800-HELP-NOW
No donation is too small. Please call now.
Again, that number is 1-800-HELP-NOW
You can also visit their website: RedCross.org
YOUR DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Next, please keep the hurricane survivors in your prayers. Prayer, just like donations, has great power in numbers. Please continue to pray for all of our brothers and sisters who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. Many of them have lost everything…many have lost loved ones.
And please visit Katrina Help.com, tell others about the site, and return to the site frequently to stay up-to-date on the disaster.
SEO will be phased in soon for the site, to build on the already strong traffic, and thus I would respectfully request that anyone who has a website please consider linking to Katrina Help.com. Every link, just like every donation and every prayer, will help.
Additionally, if anyone would like to place a forward on any of their domains to the site, please do so. Every extra person who visits the site means another potential donation to the Red Cross.
To everyone who has supported me with my online efforts, from Prevent Suicide Now.com and Tsunamis.com, to Project Care.com and the current project of Katrina Help.com, Thank you and God bless you.
