Introduction:
Media Dump is a new script that enables you to run your own media / social networking site, just as if you crossed YouTube and MySpace together! However, this is not your average video script. What about the users?:
I cannot even begin to list the features which allow the interaction of users. Each user has their own, unique profile, just as if they were on their MySpace account. The colours of their layout can be changed with ease as a fancy dynamic preview is updated as they change each aspect of their layout. Their profile is their profile. They have the ability to update what information is shown on it, while also having the ability to show off their Media Files. Users are also given a variety of ways in which they can connect to other users on the site, whether they add each other to their friends list, leave a comment on their profile, or send them a private message. All filesizes are supported, however, as always it depends on what the maximum your host will allow is set on.
It does support flv media, however it does not convert to flv.
This looks great, If only I could find a way to add in all my data from my myspace and arcade site and set up redirectors for all that content!

nathan vr goo suggest flv auto converge as priorlty update as reduces bandwidth use evry view thus more buyers on lower hostn packages also suggest that have say a 50 per cnt off for dn users here as woud drive sales ad encourage rsale by us and our communites also te moe ppl using ur script the less ppl wl use the cheaper copies apearin hpe thi helps

Sorry msl, I cannot provide a 50% discount, however I do provide special discounts every now and then.
FLV conversion will be in the next release, we are planning on a way to do it without the user needing any extra software (Such as ffmpeg) installed.
DropDepot, I have produced addon scripts that auto-update content, however they are not included in the main script. As for an admin demo, you can view screenshots of it here http://www.mediascript.net/screenshots/. If you have msn, I would be glad to provide you with a live demo.
Forward, this is a common question that a few people have asked me. Thumbnail generation form videos requires extra software to be installed on your server (ffmpeg). This software can only really be used by people who own dedicated servers. In the next coming release, as with conversions, we are working on a way to achieve this without the need for ffmpeg. For now, thumbnails will need to be provided.
However, through the admin section, there is a large variety of ways to add the thumbnails, so adding files can be done extremely quickly. I would also guess that the majority of video site owners grab their videos from other sites, thus these sites would already provide the screenshots.

DNF users would DEF use your script and after we have reviewed it you would sell a few, it is a good price at $100 bucks but get some out in the real world on special and then you can put the price in line with what it would be worth if it was popular....

It can't get much easier to change the template, look at the demos I showed above.
The HumorUpload one was achieved by editing only three files, style.css, header.tpl and left_menu.tpl.
I would show you some other sites who have changed their template, however they have not been released to the public yet, or are not suitable.

You may sell your site that is using the script, however all files must keep the copyright notice inside them.

A few updates:
I have recently added FFMPEG support to Media Dump (Automatic Video Thumbnail Generation and FLV Video Conversion), and it will be available to all new / old Media Dump customers shortly.
Media Dump will be given a new default look after new years, with a much cleaner, user-friendly design. The new design will come in a variety of colours - Green, Blue, Red, Orange and Black.
