Interesting thing. I just checked stats on my NNNNN's and almost all domains got at least 1-2 impressions during last 3 days.
1 domain received 157 uniques in 3 days 55141.com, any idea why? maybe it means something.
Many domains got 15-20 views in 1-3 days.

Almost no clicks though. I should probably add some keywords

It looks like it took LLLL.com 2 months to finish off the last 15k regs. On 02/08/08 there were ~17k NNNNN.com and now 5 days later there are less then 7k! I think the NNNNN.com has a lot more steam then the LLLL.com landgrab!

I clarified something with my Chinese "source" yesterday. He says that it is not just 8 that can reduce the negative energy of the 4 (others can be 5,6,7 depending), but it also depends on what the phrase sounds like. Also the more lucky numbers you have, the better, so 1,2,4,6,7,8.

So its not cut and dried to say 4 is bad. It depends on context. Different regions of China have different meanings too for lucky numbers, just to further complicate things.

Therefore as domainers, we cant shoot ourselves in the foot and lose value on a name simply because it has a 4 ! - it could even be in a lucky context, depending on surrounding digits and sequence!! Research each.

Just mentioning since you are quoting on your blog. Google "chinese lucky numbers" for serious sources.
