Going by that message we should be back on sometime early afternoon, but we cannot be certain. We are in the process of setting up a temporary support forum using our other hosting service, but feel free to contact me on the following for any support or sales questions:All servers in the Boca Raton datacenter are down
This affects ALL customers, including us.
In case of emergency, our office phone is xxx-xxx-xxxx, however there's really not
anything we can do at this time until commercial power is restored
which we anticiapte happening in the next few hours (max).
ETA is a few hours at most so hang tight.
Moving DNS to another datacenter at this point isn't prudent.
I'll provide a full update here as soon as I have more information.

From our Hosting company ...
We have setup a temporary support email address: phparcadescript@gmail.com if anyone needs and support or has any sales questions.Update 10:15AM ET: Engineers are still working on the generators.
The eye of the storm appears to be at or approaching Miami / Boca Raton.
Storm should be OUT of the area by 1PM ET (hopefully).
Update 10:30AM ET: Just spoke with the datacenter. The controller that regulates the waveform of the generators is actually the component that failed. They're working on it now, but still no ETA. We're still confident that FPL (Florida Power and Light) will restore commercial power soon. When all is said and done, and we're back online, THEN we'll begin the blame game - and believe me - HEADS WILL ROLL for this.
Update 11:00AM ET: They've isolated one of the generator issues, and hopefully we'll have some further news (or be online) in the next 20 minutes.
Latest update ...
We have been given another ETA of 4pm EDT to get our hosting back, but the previous ones they gave us have not been correct. Many of our shared hosting customers have been impacted by Hurricane Wilma's effects in the south Florida area. Our Boca Raton data center facility did experience power loss this morning, and backup generators, which were tested just four days ago and found to be working properly, are not operational at this time. At this time, we have proactively powered down servers to minimize impact to our shared servers located in the Boca Raton data center. We will restore these servers once power comes back online. In the meantime, we are aggressively working with the local power company to assess when power will be restored, and we are working with the building facilities management to restore service to backup generators as well. We will continue to provide updates and any time estimates on this site as we have them.
Latest update ...
We also have a temporary support forum setup using our temp hosting at http://www.phparcadescript.com/forumUpdate: 11:15PM ET:
I just talked to the datacenter... one generator is online.... gotta get 2 more up to provide us enough power.... We'll be here and online until all servers are back online.
Time for a new host for surethats what happens when you try to save a couple bucks.... I have a pair of nice big beefy Dual Xeon/SCSI rigs from theplanet. certainly not the cheapest but certainly worth the premium price.

Can't do anything about it when 3+ million customer's in Florida are without power. However the datacenter should have generators to run their servers for several days if not longer. Although, I would look for a host outside of Florida.
Chris, I do not want to start a flame war with you regarding this. Saving a couple bucks has nothing to due with this issue. Verio, the datacenter for my Hosting provider is located in Boca Raton, Florida ... where the eye of Hurricane Wilma hit. Thus, Verio, plus 6+ million other people lost power, and are still out of power in that area. Verio had 5 diesel powered backup generators that kicked in, but there was a mechanical issue and they failed to stay on. Verio tried to get people out to fix it, but due to the hurricane damage across southern Florida, getting repair crews to the scene was very difficult. The servers kicked back on and off throughout today, and that's also when phpArcadeScript's backup hosting company came online. We are now running on our backup hosting company until things can get settled down in Florida.
The owner of our primary hosting company jumped on a plane this afternoon to fly down to Orlando then drive to Boca Raton to assess the damage first hand as well as pick copies of all the data that was housed on the servers there. Honestly, that is the sign of a great host.
This thread was intended as a way for me to get a message out to current and potential phpArcadeScript owners regarding the status of the website as for a while we did not have any other means of letting people know what was going on. This thread was not meant for thread crashing nor any type of promotion at all of our script. I have been a member of DNForum since May 2002, and a lot of phpArcadeScript owners are members here as well, so I knew this would be a place that I would need to get the word out about our status. We pride ourselves on our product and the support we give our customers, and keeping them informed and being able to offer support the best we can during this downtime is our main concern.
I want to thank all phpArcadeScript owners for their patience through this downtime ... our website is currently back up and running on our temporary hosting. If you need immediate support, please feel free to contact me at the following:
