This all depends on how important Twitter is to you and if you think you could use it to market your product or get a head start on a large following both for a personal site or business.
I have several accounts that I'm willing to part with for a price. Said accounts have (rounded down to the nearest hundred) and prices next to them, either PM or reply in this thread to claim an account;
900 followers ($50)
1000 followers ($55)
1200 followers ($60)
2100 followers ($105)
2200 followers ($110)
2700 followers ($135)
3400 followers ($170)
3900 followers ($195)
4300 followers ($215)
5200 followers ($260)
7300 followers ($365)
12,900 followers ($645)
I only accept paypal payments. Once the payment is made account information will be passed onto you and you may change the info and even username as you see fit through twitter settings. It's a pretty straightforward process that takes seconds.
These twitter accounts are active and I just can't maintain them anymore, they were not made to be sold. Either I'm no longer providing the services I use these accounts to market or I've sold the sites that had twitter accounts etc. According to Twitter's policy it's fine to sell these accounts, you simply can't if it's in the form of squatting or selling trademarked profile accounts etc of companies or popular individuals. But there is nothing in there policy about buying the people that run them.![]()

Acro, right, but there's nothing in the policy about buying the people that RUN these accounts, which is what i'm suggesting here. They don't however allow accounts to be sold that are considered squatting etc too as i mentioned above, read here.
It is against their TOS:
* Name Squatting: You may not engage in name squatting. Accounts that are inactive for more than 6 months may also be removed without further notice. Some of the factors that we take into account when determining what conduct is considered to be name squatting are:
- the number of accounts created
- creating accounts for the purpose of preventing others from using those account names
- creating accounts for the purpose of selling those accounts
- using feeds of third-party content to update and maintain accounts under the names of those third parties
*Selling user names: Unless you have been specifically permitted to do so in a separate agreement with Twitter, you agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or resell the Services for any purpose.
Accounts engaging in any of these behaviors may be investigated for abuse. Accounts under investigation may be removed from Search for quality. Twitter reserves the right to immediately terminate your account without further notice in the event that, in its judgment, you violate these Rules or the Terms of Service.
