What if I told you that there is a program that shows January, Feb & Mar ovt scores?

First of all, I want to wish you all a happy and prosperous new year.

I would like to ask for your help and feedback. I have developed a very nice piece of software that can analyze large lists of domain names(millions of them in just seconds) , and output domains that had overture in any of the months January, February and March.

What it basically does, is that it loads the databases of the zone scans(of com/net/org/info/biz/ca) for Jan/Feb/mar ovt into the memory, and then it runs any imported list of domains against the pre-loaded lists. It then outputs the names with ovt scores. You can export the domains into the clipboard, text file or csv. (see printscreen example of the beta)

The program makes it easy to import large lists (for example, daily drops from snapnames, namejet, pool etc), without any previous processing and cleaning.

I have had this program for a while, and I have won many names with traffic and revenue for less than $100, with none, or very little competition at snapnames. The reason is that there are names that do not have a january ovt score, but they do have a february or march score, and since there are not many people who have february and march data, these domains have very little competition when backordered. I have even had 4 figure offers to sell a copy of the program but I have refused to sell more than once.

Anyway, I was thinking to transform it into a commercial program, and sell copies at an affordable price of less than $100 per copy, but first, I wanted to make a small market research first before releasing it, to see if there is enough interest by the potential customers(domainers).

Would you be interested in such a piece of software and would you consider buying a copy?

yes, it can analyze 6 millions domains in just a few seconds(on my Vista, 2GHz Core 2 DUO, 1 GB RAM).

The Namejet list (analyzed in the example of the print screen) was analyzed in less than 1 second

I will go ahead then and create the commercial version, expect to see it live in a month or so. No need for beta testers at the moment, I may need some beta testing at a later point though.
