Travel site, hotel, air line, car rental

would anyone kindly let me know an estimate $$ of building a site based on travel and integration of one of those feed provider such as hotelclub, expedia, ian or any you know would be best.. so i can look into my budget and perhaps get it going if meets my budget.

Steve, I had a reply PM from one of the members, looked at his works, nice job and that, but price was out of my budget. if you want i forward his pms to you.
perhaps if you want to do one site it worth it, but i intend to do over 10 of them. I also keep you posted if anything came up.

Setting up a travel site is about 2-3 hours work for a customized look via the IAN booking engine. Most of the layout and content is provided by the travel company. Once it's up, there is little maintenance. Good luck finding web developer. Would think college student might do the work at decent price. A few examples if interested ...

I highly disagree with you here, there is certainly a decent bankroll to be made from affiliate sites.

It depends how much time/resources you want to put into it. A thin affiliate site can be created for less then 300$, but even something like www.hotels.com.au (which is purely affiliate) is averaging 100-120K p/a.

I think I was able to use expedia affiliate templates for www.SydneyOnline.com (dns still updating), and my site will look something like this: link

Looks like they dont really offer tooo much customization to the templates there..
