I agree - I'm barely finished the C's, and I'm seeing a substantial amount of names which are "of interest".

Truly a monster week.
I left it to the last second (no exaggeration) and had to hassle to get all my orders in.
A few "tooth and nail" names. Missed one of them in Pool. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that in their almighty army of registrars, they miss it and are too busy chasing tofu.
Too bad all the car domains went last week, they could have had a drag race for it

I think so too. But what's the catch with the good generic, niche and LLL domains?

Did someone get busted for being non-eligible? Did someone die (I'm serious)? Someone just forgot to renew?

Myself, I only put in a bid for one, but if the $125 Sibername starting price (as of yesterday) is any indication, the best I can hope for is an auction :(

I'm thinking you're on the right track in respect to the reasoning behind it. I'm not questioning this blessing, so I'm giving it no thought.

I can tell you it is very likely that Adam is participating in this. Anybody with a genuine interest in .ca ought to be in this TBR.

I seriously don't know what all the hype about tofu.ca is about, though. What's somebody going to do with it, build an online tofu store?

There are a few large end users in the tofu industry, not sure if they would be interested, but that is the ultimate edge over the competition. So many different type tofu products now, and for vegan diets, this is a huge industry, and more people are demanding more local, and pure products, great brand for anyone starting out locally.

Great drop what I also saw was julie.ca, dod.ca, whistlercanada.ca, as stated above anyone with some cash on hand, and a holder in the .ca market should be in this drop.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...I'm sure some of your picks might be wondered about as well.

And the biggest start bid I saw as mentioned above was byowner.ca at $1000.

Tofu was mentioned because it does have real value...although not to all, and is not one you would expect to see drop....that was all. Not intended to offend anyone's sensibilities.

Tofu.ca could be used the same way Cheese.ca is used. I'm sure tofu is a big market even though I don't buy it personally. Everyone has heard of it.

MyID alerted me to the high quality TBR, got their email on Monday where they mentioned there was good quality this week. I put some bids in at MyID (all had at least one other bidder up to $60, which triggers an auction if they get the name, I'm sure there were multiple bidders on each). I also put in for some at Siber today and they were already at $150 to $300 each.

I haven't seen the results yet but they should be out about now!
