. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . WebSite Developer Wanted!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I like the graphics on the main page. Some kind of cloud with faces, and the images of flags for each of the province. lol
btw the faces on the cloud don't make any sense. There is a dog there, some happy faces, one lady with her head pointing down. I guess it suppose to mean something![]()
Yes their interface is poor and the whole design is old looking but I think before we go knocking someones business, has there been a poor experience with their customer service and their business as a whole? Sure we can critique their design but as a registrar, does anyone have any experience with them?
Jeez, what's that "design" !!!
Sababa my friend
Adam buys domain from seller.
Seller cannot find EPP code
Adam registers crap name just to see what seller sees.
Adam pays $14.95 for crap name.
Adam cannot find login panel anywhere on homepage.
Adam searches Google and finds login link.
Adam logs in and sees only option is to change nameservers or renew.
Adam cannot find EPP code anywhere.
Adam posts this thread.
Adam no likey the system.
Wow.. I thought I was visiting a site via archive.org for a sec there. Worst and most outdated design I've seen in a while.
Is it the first post in the history of the forum to contain 10 times the same name?
So, you went there and spent $14.95 to see how good their backend is? You could go to a Japanese restaurant for that money

It must be interesting to assume how this company operates. Let's try to think about it. There is a guy somewhere, who is working in a totally different field for a long time. He already forgot completely that he owns reg.ca, and he obviously doesn't know anything about CIRA moving to EPP system. He is not trying to motivate any clients to register new .ca domain names, and only sometimes the small number of his clients bothers him when they want their domain name to be transferred to another registrar. All of the sudden Adam comes to the site, and actually registers a domain name. The guy seems very puzzled when he receives an email from CIRA confirming the registration and he is very surprised that somebody chose his registrar, over hundred of the other, normal ones. Now he has to work hard to accommodate a strange request from this person - finding an EPP code. Can he solve the problem? Only time will tell
But hey - they offer TBR services!

If you just reg'd the name I don't think you will be able to transfer it for 60 days even with the right EPP code...the 60 day could be the problem you are running into..

Whitebark, do you use them for TBR? Do they catch anything? I don't remember seeing reg.ca anywhere at the top lately, but most of the companies catch under different names
They changed the EPP code and emailed it to me today.
I now have the domain at Go Daddy.
