    .IE Domain Name Registrations Up 12% in 2012, Breach 175,000 Mark

    A rather small bit of domain news: registration of .ie domain names (ccTLD for Ireland) is up 12% in 2012 with 9,398 domains being registered in the first 3 months of this year alone.     Do we have any Irish domainers on DNF? How do you feel about the restrictions to register a .ie domain, good or bad thing?

    I wanted to buy a hack for my girlfriend's personal email address but didn't want to jump through the loopholes.

    Same here. I have a domain I've been wanting to register for some time for a personal blog, but can't justify going through all the loops to get it.
