Adam's facebook account hacked???

It appears as if Adam's Facebook account has been hacked. The hacker has been writing to people, me included. Please pass this along and anyone with personal contact info for Adam let him know ASAP.

Adam Dicker has his Facebook account compromised.
I chatted with the hacker and when he saw I discovered him he disconnected me from Adam friends.
It's possible the hacker usurpated his identity for ask for money to friends...
So mods call Adam in order his account be isolated and fixed.

I will be sure he recovered his FB account when he will post a message her at DNForum as when the hacker chatted with me minutes ago he was already saying is account was no longer compromised and that he was the real Adam. It's when I asked him about the content of our last PM to get sure that he stopped the chat and disconnected me from his friends.

So for the moment let's wait confirmation from Adam.

Ok, so special thanks to Francois and Sean Stafford who called me on my cell to let me know what was up and even sent me a copy of the chat so that I could resolve this quickly.

Let me assure you I am not in London and was not held up at gunpoint.
The account is now under my control, the person got in and then added this email ad.dicker@gmail.com and proceeded to try to convince people to send him/her money.

All is fine now and I have control of the account.

As a precaution I ran a full antivirus scan on my pc and all was fine, I also have changed all important passwords.

Thanks again to all that were helpful in ending this in under 10 minutes, that in itself is frickin amazing.

I am in adam friends but didn't get "hit up" yet but saw the acknowledgement message.

Should Facebook get involved?

i would have questioned it was him anyway because I would expect any query about fundraising to come form dnforum thread and not facebook.

I think it was really great work on the part of the people contacted to weed out the fraud...immediately. really amazing this got dealt with so quickly. Looks like Adam has wise friends on FB.
