After 5 years - I finally left parked.com

I have decided to move all my domains away from parked after 5 long years.

I don't blame parked.com for the revenue drop it's just a fact of our industry.

I never had 1 service issue with parked.com, they are good people.

I am now with Frank Shilling on Internettraffic.com.

Parking should only be a medium before development.

Development is the goal of all domains.

Examples: download.net , voiceoverip.com , canadians.com , salads.ca and flatscreens.ca

They are much more promising than parked and you are likely to make significantly more money here. Good decision. IMO

Smart move to try InternetTraffic.

It will be interesting to hear about your numbers 60 days from now.
I'm positive it will be higher than using a yahoo/bing feed.
(The first month doesn't count.)

My 5 yr revenue graph with Parked looks similiar to the 20 yr graph for 8 track tapes.

Also considering my options with this. A thought for Donny; surely you have to be losing money, or at the very least your revenue has to be way down. Perhaps if you added some other features besides just a ppc model. Maybe more of a domain management system. People are constantly asking about the best way to manage their domains. Parked already has many features in place to build it on. If you added private fields/tables for letting us track the registrar, expiration dates, whether we have privacy enabled, is it developed, and if so, where we have it hosted, etc. Maybe start a thread asking what fields people would like to see. At the least, it may keep some customers from moving away. Most of us realize parking pays very little as it is, and are concentrating on developing our domains as fast as possible, and could use a good way to track everything. A few cents/dollars from clicks would just be a bonus as opposed to the primary feature.

You can have the best user interface on the planet but when your earning near nothing, the interface is irrelevant.... It's almost like going to Disneyland during a power outage.
