Well what was a great thread and for many members here one of the most important threads for some time concerning the future direction of DNF, unfortunately it has been over-run by a thread hijacking!

Can we please get back on topic, I for one would like to hear suggestions on changes to DNF so that we can debate them and help Adam get a feeling of the members here for such suggestions. Already some very good suggestions have been put forward and Adam has replied by saying he is working/will work on some of them.

This is too important a thread to be mucked about with so will both sides please just go and PM the hell out of each other!

I try to start each day as if it were my last -- with an attitude of gratitude. I try to see things from another's view and respect it. I don't always remember. If I did, I'd have more business connections, more friends, and I am just gonna guess here, but more cash too -- more successful. Look at all the really successful people you look up to. Are most of them [a stupid, incompetent, or detestable person 1 ]? Most likely not. I think that if everyone would watch that movie Click! and then go about their day (or at least recall its meaning before saying things or taking action). What things would they do differently and how would it ultimately affect their life? What things would they say or not say to loved ones, peers and others that would also affect things? The idea of the movie on the mind would help to put things into perspective as to what's really important and what can be let go. All the above is not directed to anyone in particular. Just felt like sharing it. It doesn't need to make sense to everyone, but if anyone here gains from it, then that will work for me.

The idea of a 7 day sales thread that goes away is, in my opinion, a very good one.

I proposed charging a small DNF$ charge for starting a thread in Sales/Appraisals or Domains wanted. If that is to radical, maybe just limiting the number of times per month that you can start a thread in these sections? Just something to try to force the cream to the top and hold down the rubbish.

I would also propose a 4th level of membership. A diamond level that is very exclusive. Something where member identification is verified to ensure that no "spies" are there. Also to ensure that members at that level have the means to buy and sell $x,xxx domains. Just something that offers privacy where you can talk about domains and issues that you might not be comfortable talking about publicly.

i disagree there shouldn't be a charge for posting in appraisal or sales threads we paid for exclusive so there shouldn't be restrictions or payment on posting threads ! i think i limiting can be good if the limit is a reasonable number ! also i disagree with 4th level of membership i mean we joined exclusive to get the best stuff and learning available on the forum and its not fair to add more membership levels but verification can work if the process is made easy and fast !

I'd hazard a remote guess that Beachie's referring to something else; specifically RG's apparent shock at someone being able to say "assholes" as a casual reference to nobody in reply to one topic, and "Thanks" to another, in the same post. Quite reasonable by the poster cashcow in this case IMHO, but overreacted to by RG.
