Same thing happened to my friend last month, but now he is feeling much better, he actually looks "like new" and I hope your father has a quick recovery too...

I am back now, thanks to all tha voiced their thoughts and good wishes.

It is much appreaciated.

He is home from the hospital but has had a brain tumor previously so the oulook is not great. In the meantime I have hired him a private nurse to make things a bit easier on my mother.

Somehow, as everyone does, I will get through it.

Those of you that have been through something similar know the hardest part is having to watch and not being able to change the outcome.

ok, I have been enough of a downer, back to domains I go, with a bit of reality mixed in.

My Grandmother had a brain tumor, it was operable but at her age the surgeons said she would not pull through....It was very difficult and we could not leave her alone, especially when she began hallucinating, their is nothing you can do as you say, but to make it as comfortable for him as possible, we also a had a private nurse to take care of her.

Good luck Adam, thank God he is still alive and has seen you and your success through all these years...I lost my Dad to cancer when I was in my teens and it really was hard, still is...I am sure your Dad is getting the best treatment possible and has a bit more time left, I pray it all works out ok..
