Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!These sound ultra infomercial-ish to me. It makes domaining sound "too good to be true" when it's actually quite simple. That said, I like #2 the best.
Buying names with traffic. PM me.
Sounds like a get rich quick type of infomercial. "I've bought domain names for $7 and sold them for over $250,000." I think the script and voiceover talent is targeting the wrong audience.
Hit me up if you want some more feedback/assistance. I have a MS in Direct & Interactive Marketing, and I've worked on both the agency and client side for a few years before becoming a f/t domain investor.

I agree, this line doesn't sound right coming out of these "I AM THE INTERCOM" people. The rest sounds fine.I've bought domain names for $7 and sold them for over $250,000.

#3 sounds the best, i work in the entertainment industry... 3 sounds the best for marketing...
I vote for #1, which sounds like a real person. #2 sounds a bit too honey-sweet to be believable, and #3 is a typical over-hyping ad voice.

Sounds too much like "Internet Speedway" for me. But whatever works.![]()
#3 has the best voice. #1 sounds like a tired grandma. #2 is too stand-offish.
#3 needs some rhythmic, beating background music though. The xylophone dings don't do it any justice.
I'd drop the $250k reference as well.
I like #3 too.
Radio is very popular even now! and there are DNF members many of them who made 1000's if not millions.
I would like to listen to this ad on CHUMFM 104.5 my fav thanks.

in general i hate radio commercials that sound like radio commercials. i'm sure there are studies confirming what works and what doesn't, and why voice-over voices have to sound like caricatures of themselves.
I would consider either a tune, either in background or interspersed with dialogue, or even just a jingle at the end. You would be surprised how a little audio will make the whole piece sound 'fuller'

Patience is a virtue
Yes indeed #3 sounds better than the rest. Radio and audio will play a major role in 2008.
5 YEARS and counting ...
I like #3
>>>I think you need to inject DNForum at least once more in the middle of the ad.
>>>On a technical note Adam...as this is a listening ad I would ask the voice to pronounce the 'U' in forum a little more as when listened to it sounds a bit like DNForm.com. It might seem a picky point but a domainer would assume it was "forum" but as this is being targeted to non domainers best to make the pronunciation very clear...
Just my 2 cents worth...
Best of luck in your promotion as it might bring a little more end-user money in...all those new members will make it interesting for the mods as well..

How are you going to target retailers via the radio? You might get a few but the vast majority who will probably end up joining will be broke people thinking they can get rich off registering a few crappy names and selling them here.
Hey Adam,
I like #3 execpt I'd slow down his voice a bit. I think if you had a testimonial (different voice from the main person), it also might "hit home" a bit more.
Good luck! We're all going to benefit from increased traffic to this site.
