This is what I think you're saying:
No more external auction bumps (Right now there's a free bump on the last day)
>>> Didn't realize this was allowed at all, bumps with no purpose have no place here. The charge is to discourage people from bumping useless threads.
No more $xxxx offer received bumps on the sale threads (Right now we could bump sale threads to update the offers.)
>>> To do this the offer must be my a member and in the thread, otherwise we have no way to validate it's not just another useless bump.
I am eliminating people bumping threads for no reason, this will allow newer threads to stay at the top longer that people may actually be interested in.
The charge is just to discourage those that bump for no apparent reason.
The $40 bump gives you a sticky for a 24 hour period which is pretty damn good exposure for $40.
Only those making money fromn their sales or threads will bump and they will have domains worth bumping.
It is my way of cleaning up the trash bumping that I see all the time.

Buying/selling LLL.coms! PM or e-mail me.
On ebay, when you bid on an item it's public and everyone can see what they are up against, people don't whisper bids in private that often on Ebay.
Here, I know there are lots of transactions that are done in PM and that's fine they can stay in PM.
But that said we need to draw a line in the sand and say if you are willing to bid in PM, why not post in the thread, this is after all a forum.
I can tell you that >80% of all people that say they got a higher bid in PM are bullshitters, trust me I know this.
Then some poor sap comes along and bids higher due to a dishonest person saying they received a higher bid in PM.
Personally, I have no issue with posting any bid on a domain in a thread, we don't sell TM's or TM typos so this should not be an issue.
Feel free to disagree but rememebr the facts:
>80% of all people that say they got a higher bid in PM are bullshitters, trust me I know this.
Do you really want to bid against fake people?
Also keep in mind if the sales goes through PM only, you have no recourse if the transaction goes wrong.
I am going through all te rules today and adjusting most in the favour of giving more leeway to honest members an no leeway to scammers.
As parking continues to freefall, more honest people will turn to any means to make a buck.

Adam,
May we still reply with 10% price drop?
Thanks!

First sticky, wish me luck!![]()
Honestly, when you are selling domains in the 4-5 figures on this thread, and someone says, I have a $10K offer via PM, it is very hard to participate, I would purchase more domains, but often times, I have the notion I am up against an imaginary bidder. I really hope this issue as above gets settled. There is a domain right now in the forum where this is happening, a buyer makes a mid 4 figure offer, and the seller states there is more activity happening behind the scenes via PM. Lately liquidity in the forum has been very scarce, maybe this might help bring some buying back.

Does this include in the new implementation of the following?...
Just trying to clarify what I have read lately, so I know where things stand.MAIN FORUM RULE
If you have a problem with another Member, Moderator or Admin, take it up with them directly. Not here. No exceptions.
...
If you have an issue with a member deal with it, call them out, sue them, do whatever you want, the forum will not get involved in disputes we are not involved in.

How about bringing some exclusive benefits back, flicking through the home page 1/3 of the forum seems to be private I'm thinking wtf did I pay a couple of hundred bucks for?
Adam, this has nothing to do with the bidings, but would it be possible to add "portuguese" on the language area forum?
I'm felling kinda homeless over there
cheers
This will be addressed shortly, the only sections you cannot see are the dnfcollege sections as they are currently an apply only to get involved.
I don't want to flag everyone for access if they don't need any help but that may change soon as I am starting to teach how to register an $8 domain and get on the front page of Google and making money.
Ok another new change that has been communicated to the mods.
I have added a custom hack so that every thread that is closed must be given a reason.
The thread starter will be PM'd why the thread was closed and it will also show at the top of the thread.
That said, we will try to close as few threads as possible but I feel you need to know why a thread is closed if it has to be closed.

Here is an example of a closed thread:

I like this improvement. One request though, can mods clean up the thread before it's locked?
For example, the following seller may not like having the BIN price and domain permanently on the Internet for all to see.
A lot of people want to protect the pricing for future resell...
