Wow...that is some major changes...

The areas that will be effected are the following:
1) How we moderate the forum, it will lean more towards a customer service and less towards dictarorship. - Done.
2) The advertising area will have major changes, it will no longer be cluttered with junk and will be displayed more prominantly. - Done
3) The option to bump threads will be allowed as the bumping rule will be changed. - Done
4) Better ways to handle pm's. - Coming Soon
5) The option to have a 468 x 60 banner signature will be added. - Done

For now, rules stay the same, but change is coming.

As an interesting side-note there is a forum that will ban you if you sue another member if the needed pleadings in the csse violate the rules of the board (whch by definition they do).

For those that want a 468 x 60 banner in their DNForum.com signature you can go here and order one.
http://www.dnforum.com/payments.php
It's the last item in the list.
Then instantly upload it, then in the upper right corner you will see 'Insert Signature Picture' click that, then highlight the sig image and link it to wherever you want it to go.
You can obviously change it as often as you choose.

People have been filling dnforum with free ad threads that are crap while others pay big sums to advertise.

People love to bump threads so I have come up with a way to eliminate bumping completely unless they pay, this will eliminate the clutter of useless bumps on the forum as most won't pay unless they are making money off their thread.
>> at the top of each thread you will see a link to Promote thread, this will charge them $40 to bump their thread to the top and it will stay for 1 day as a sponsored link.
No other bumping will be allowed.
Today I will review all the rules and amend the stupid ones.

This is what I think you're saying:
No more external auction bumps (Right now there's a free bump on the last day)
No more $xxxx offer received bumps on the sale threads (Right now we could bump sale threads to update the offers.)
You're going to charging members who don't abuse the bumps because certain members are abusing it?
