Only email addresses that will be allowed to be used will be ones that are paypal verified and attached to real Paypal accounts.
Usernames for NEW users will have to be there first and last names on their paypal accounts - Also a custom build.
It's high time we got transparent since we seem to demand it from all the other companies in our industry.
I want to know who I am dealing with and I want their reputation on the line if they screw me or anyone else over.

It isn't a new idea, wasn't it on the table a few years back ?
I believe Paypal is not available in some countries, or comes with severe limitations, does that mean DNF will be unavailable to those who are unfortunate to live in a non-Paypal location ?
NameNewsletter.com - free lists of available domain names
ZoneFiles.net (beta) - ccTLD and gTLD droplists
Yeah I would rethink about the Paypal e-mail address.

some online companies do a verification by credit card, client inputs their credit card info and they are billed two small amounts (ie - $.02 and $.15) once they do this they must verify by inputting the amounts in a regristration field box afterwards.
might work as an alternative to paypal verification

Thanks for being progressive.
I agree. The other thing that I like about credit card verification is that it, by force, ensures that whoever is signing up is 18 years of age or older and thus eligible to enter into a legally binding agreement.
Paypal on the other hand, is easy to obtain for a minor, as has been proven in past threads in this forum.

I think added security will definitely be a plus! Thanks for looking out for us!
I'm currently buying NNN.US and NNN.INFO names! PM me if you got them!
One thing to keep in mind...
We want to make it hard for or discourage fraudsters
at the same time you can't make it to complicated where we scare off legitamte new domainers.

I like the idea. Not sure how the new users will.
I remember when I first found DNF and was appalled that I had to pay to post. However, when I got more serious about domains, DNF was the first place that popped in my mind for that reason. I felt it was better quality over the others so maybe this new system will give off the same message.

I think it's a good idea. Let's keep the baddies out.

This is good news,
and I always complain of the loading times on this forum, not sure why it loads very slow for me, other forums load way faster...
Domaining to the max.
There seems to be more spammers lately. I reported more than 5 members already. New ones keep popping up each day.
