Dnforum re-structure - DNForum - Domain Sales, Domain Forum, Domain Appraisals, Domain Registrars

Dear Valued Members,
We are posting an announcement today regarding the new structure of the forum over the past few weeks. We have been working on bringing new features to the forum and providing a more user friendly interface for our members.
We will also be restructuring our moderator team to make sure we have more eyes on forum issues throughout the entire day by covering day and night shifts. Our current mod team and admins have done a great job, having helped make the forum what it is today. We have decided to take it to the next level and bring around the clock coverage and expand our mod team.

The new mod team will take care of resolving all forum issues with member’s posts and behavior within the DNForum community. The mod team will be finalized today and posted as an update in the thread.

There will be 2 admins on the forum who are: DCG and Impactadmin. The mods will report to the admins on issues within the forum including; technical issues, user issues and overall the forum itself. Before a member is banned, banning requests will be made to the admins for a final review. Our mods have done a great job of handling these issues so far. The final decision on all issues will be made by DCG.

Backward step in my view. He should remain as an Admin. I've been a mod here twice and Scorpio has been a great 'policeman' when you get to look behind the scenes and see what mods have to do.

Mind you, I don't know the politics in this move, or whether Scorpio is happy to be relieved as an Admin. Regardless, I personally see that as a disappointment.

Same here. With all the "restructuring" I am not sure if DNF knows what they want to do.

We all know it will work out for the best but too many mods come and go.

It is a good step ensuring there is always a mod on the board 24/7 though.

Indeed JDK. Just look how much has been invested in money/time/effort on this site in the last three months. Not time now for bad decisions. What on earth is wrong with current Admins/Mods? Too often I have seen DNF make great strides only to make a single bad decision that serves to negate the positives.

This is *not* a derogatory post. I just think that Adam needs to think this out very carefully.

Of course. None of my posts are anything against DNF. I love DNF and the members. Sometimes a little positive criticism helps to give a kick in the butt towards the right path.

Well all will be revealed in the next few hours. Will we be getting another mod from the UK? We'll just have to wait and see.

I am happy with the restructure.

I will be handling user issues ,Forum issue and moderators.

impactadmin will be handling technical Issues.

DCG Will be taking care of overall and All Ban request will go to him for final review.
