this is why vb is a pain in the a$$ and i've not yet upgraded to 3.6.1... my advice from personal pain is to have a development "mirror" of DNF to perform upgrades and keep separate from LIVE/production site. this way you can minimize impact, from what I see there's LOTS of firefighting to happen in next 24/48h :(

good luck! | We always test away from live server but the live one always comes with more issues as there are tons of vb addons here.
