I'm not here to take the place of our 24 hour support team, but I do hope to help forum users when appropriate.

Tad late unfortuntelty. I have finally moved my 200 names out of Godaddy.
The service simply wasnt up to the standard I expect in the industry at this state, and you guys like stealing evry bit of cash from your loyal customers with your Admin fees

Sorry, Godaddy = Bad IMO

Great but ANY new member representing a company ( esp. user name) should be verified..to many new scams today and the "i'll send you my info if you help me" mentality just because the username is that of a company is one ripe for exploitation.. we know monte, sedo.co.uk etc...long standing members but again a new member ??
Get them verified so we know they are legit..Again only my 2 cents..
Sorry a little off topic ...aaah again
jim

BTW whats up with the .US Just $19.99/yr ??

Ya about 80% of mine are GD and WWD, hopefully this will allow us to get some better internal appreciation for our business challenges when dealing with support.

I have to say in general, GD and WWD support are really responsive and do their best, but I dont think suggestions to the GD suggestion box are taken as seriously as they could be.

Example, we are all using more than just reg services. A few months back I suggested more space for the email package I have with them since the individual ones got increased (the free email). Then they updated all the other packages except the one I have. That, together with the sucky web client performance made me switch to fusemail which is way slick and very business minded.

But still GD has my support and WWD too!

Welcome to DNF - finally!

Welcome GD, I have most on my non-.ca domains with you. Glad to see some official representation here at DNF!

Love all the coupons codes and discount renewals! I've been happy with the service for a number of years now.

I haven't tried GD for .ca yet but may do so in the future.

Forgot to add I would like to see GD have .in and .co.in domain regs.

Thanks for the code. I've put off buying a few names I like because my code wouldn't work any more.

Welcome GD. I have 80% of my names at GD but am not happy with their fraud prevention policies. A new member here duped some of us here including me and when i contacted GD they just refused to reverse domains. It was very clear that the member filed a claim at paypal and got her full money back, leaving us to see her go with our domains and no one helped including Adam and GD. I also had a problem with GD at the general registration opening time of .ME's. Actually one of GD's reps, Adam assured me that he will help me to register domains in bulk at the time of opening general registrations then after opening time, he confirmed that 4 names from the list of about 50, have been registered in my name [UNDRESS.ME, IMAIL.ME, NAB.ME & RAG.ME] and the rest were unavailable but later i saw NONE of the above names came into my account. On other hand, i was trying to register names manually at GD and registered about 60 names and also got confirmation mails, but later i found NONE was registered in my name. And the worst part was, Just a single name appeared in my account from the totol 60 names tried and i was a bit satisfied that i have succeeded to secure at least ONE good name but after being present for 12 hours in my account, it disappeared and never returned. That was LOV.ME It was there in my account for about 12 hours but they taken it back from me.
So, i have some complaints with Godaddy, but still i use them a lot and have about 80% of my names with them.

But still Welcome aboard.

Regards

I have all my names with GD, and never had an issue, very pleased. Always good service on the phone (the few times I had to call) and very polite.

Glad you are here. Does GoDaddy plan to lift the "60 day no transfer" rule for domains for silly instances such as changing whois data? Not only for GoDaddy itself but for ALL reseller accounts and companies under Wild West Domains?

I've also heard that if one of your domains at Godaddy has a complaint filed against it, that Godaddy suspends the domain and automatically charges your account a $30 fee. If this is true it would be good to change this policy so that the domain holder isn't treated unfairly right off the bat. Especially if it isn't a blatant TM domain.
