I have and use an IPAD 1 now and I love it, it could never replace my Sony Laptop but it is a reall cool device, especially for those that travel.
Anyways, I will get the IPAD 2 when it comes to Canada.

IPAD 2 - Release Date: March 11 2011 IN USA
March 25th for the rest of the world.
This story will be developing, but here’s what has been announced about the much-awaited tablet so far:
•iOS 4.3
•All new A5 chip with dual-core processors
•2x faster CPU
•9x faster graphics
•Same power consumption rate as A4 chip
•Dual cameras: Shoots 720p at up to 30fps on the rear and VGA stills on front-facing camera
•33% thinner body at 8.8mm
•Weighs 1.3 pounds
•Built-in gyroscope
•Same 10-hour battery life
•New apps optimized for iPad: iMovie, GarageBand, FaceTime, Photo Booth
And unlike the iPhone 4, CEO Steve Jobs promises that this device will ship in both black and white from day one, with both AT&T and Verizon as 3G carrier options.
While all of these are definite improvements, I’m sure many consumers (myself included) were hoping for a cost drop. However, most of the price tags will remain the same:
•16GB Wi-Fi: $499
•32GB Wi-Fi: $599
•64GB Wi-Fi: $699
•16GB Wi-Fi + 3G: $629
•32GB Wi-Fi + 3G: $729
•64GB Wi-Fi + 3G: $829
Best of all, the iPad 2 is set to launch on March 11, with 26 countries receiving the tablet by March 25. Maybe 2011 really will turn out to be the “year of the iPad 2.” We’re only two days in, but this is definitely going to be the “month of the iPad 2″ at the very least.
Jobs also debuted a few nifty accessories, including an HDMI 1080p output dongle for $39 and a bizarre-looking screen cover that can convert to prop up the iPad. That will be available in a rainbow assortment of colors in polyurethane and leather for $39 and $69 respectively.

I've had my iPad 1 since it was released in the US and I still use it at least 1 hour a day. I love it. It obviously can't replace my desktop computer (I still prefer desktop computers when I need to get work done), but it did replace my netbook (which I use when I travel).
It can do almost everything that my EEE 1215N (Windows 7) can do and the few things it can't, I do by RDP'ing to my desktop computer. I love it.
Oh and I'm definitely getting the iPad 2 as soon as I can.
The netbook is history. Especially when the tablets hit the scene.
Yup, I love the iPad.
But I want to wait for a more robust, decent, iPad ass-kicking Android tablet. Why? Because I hate like hell being an Apple whore...anything I want to use I have to go through them and it has to be in iTunes for download.
I have too many graphics programs, flash, adobe, etc that can and will not work on iPad. I want the tablet to be the extension of my desktop environment and my laptop. I want bidirectional programming and communications. Right now, the iPad only seems to be one directional...you go through them and purchase (or free) download tools that you need or want. An absolutely brilliant marketing strategy but not a model of efficiency that all consumers want to buy in to.
don't have .... no notepad, no ipad, no iphone, no ipod, no nano, no tablet, no android and no capsules either
damn near tech-naked

Kind of surprising for a domainer!
I'm surrounded by tech .... can't get enough - but do enjoy getting away from it now and then.
I'm a bit disappointed that there was no price drop and no flash... but it's getting more and more interesting (the iPad)..
Still, my primary mobile device right now is an Android (Samsung Galaxy S) and I love it - most of all for not being in iJail.

I'll be deciding once Blackberry playbook comes out (QNX operating system and it'll support Android apps). Motorola Xoom is just too expensive (Price of a decent netbook).
I'm also looking forward to one that does not require a plan purchase. Ridiculous to think that you can buy laptop or netbook and use your existing service. But now the trend is to buy a tablet and get 3g plan. Nonsense.
If realistic prices don't start appearing, I'll be happy to continue to use my iPad. As for 3G, my Google Nexus One is a Wi-Fi hotspot. I've even run my laptops off of it.
I have an iPad and "MobileMe" - gets me one step closer to working "anywhere"

I'm looking forward to get the 32g 3g Ipad2.
My wife is taking over the 64g wifi ipad.
I posted this reply by my ipad at Beijing International Airport.![]()
ipad 2 is nothing new, just revamped ipad 1. Ipad 3 is what you will sing and dance about. It will also release this year.
I enjoy my ipad immensely. For reading and entertainment it is awesome. There are many great apps and games that truly belong on the ipad that couldn't be duplicated on a computer or phone version due to many factors. Some of the news readers like Mashable are very impressive to view on an ipad.
But I do wish it had USB ports and would support a wireless mouse without jail breaking it.
There are going to be many new tablets coming out soon at the next CTIA convention. Looking forward to seeing what's coming out:
