Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I've just added two new forums:
a sales forum for .nl as well as a discussion forum for .nl.
If anyone would like threads moved accordingly, post or PM a link.
dot NL is since a couple of weeks larger then .EU with over 2.8 million registrations and is the fourth largest ccTLD in the world after Germany, China, and the UK.
There have been quite a few nice .nl sales - voetbal.nl 220.000 euro, vakantie.nl for an unknown x mln euro amount and many others...
The Netherlands have quite an active domainers population, and sedo is already organizing dedicated .nl auctions for this TLD - the last was in Q4 2007 where veiling.nl sold for over 40.000 euros. The next is scheduled for May this year.
Please enjoy the new forums!
Great development. I will most certainly make use of the new section![]()
Nice addition, that section now needs a thread explaining who can register .nl names![]()

yes, .nl is strong
but i'm not sure if it's necessary to have a separate subforum for each ccTLD
.com's and net's are sold in the same forum
so why can't .nl and .fr?
If you are familiar with the Dutch market, it's clear that .nl is one of the most active tlds, has a strong secondary market and rapidly growing interest from endusers. I don't think it's a good idea to mix .nl forums with any other tld. If you have to do it, you should pick .be (because of language and historical reasons) and certainly not .fr.
