Good explanation, dominator
JP, the logo was offered as a free service but Adam insisted that I get paid
As long as he's happy, I'm happy.
Great Change!
I always like change(dot com)

Sorry but.. I think the logo is too small nowIt's the same height as the nav bar, which isn't a good sign. Plus the font size is roughly the same as the large font size in the GoDaddy advert - this doesn't make any sense. It's meant to be a logo - use it loud and proud
It's okay to reduce the size a bit, but reducing it such that it's smaller than the nav bar and font in adverts?
Generally, I like the new DNF . It looks fresh and healthy. The "late" forum is like a dark mysterious cave where the domainers dwells and count their golds from their investment. The new looks makes the forum a bit in the new age, fresh, young and all of us are laptop users. The logo is nice and reminds me of my pr-checker.net a bit![]()
The logo looks nice..I wish we could have designed this for you but i believe Acroplex have done a nice job..
Why is it linked to http://www.dnforum.com/forum.php and not the homepage..Logo represents the entire website..isn't it?

I see, well that's that I guess![]()
Say it loud and clear with a larger logo, is what I hear
Yes, the logo was resized by the DNForum crew and hopefully it will be brought back to its intended size and glory before the shrinkage![]()
the logo on the 'splashpage' looks like someone has snipped the top right corner off the 'm' at end
or is it my eyes in my twilight years?![]()
The DNF logo needs to make a stronger statement. It doesn't need to be larger, but it does need to stand out and say, "This is THE Domain Name Forum, dammit. Not those other guys."
But this logo lacks authority and purpose. The choice of font is better suited for a forum about bunnies, puppies and kittens.
That's just how I see it. But like Adam posted earlier, you can't please everyone when it comes to design. I appreciate the effort in creating the logo, I just think it still needs some tweaking.
Other than that, I like the new look. And the favicon. Nice job.
Thanks for the laugh, barefoot.
Please educate yourself about typography, web 2.0 and logo design.
Once again: the logo was designed to be larger. Currently, it suffers beside the *huge* GoDaddy banner. As I also explained, there are several reasons why a logo is designed one way or another, including portability in other formats and display media, such as print and clothing.
As for forums about bunnies and kittens, I have yet to find one.

Lol
I really don't understand why can't be restored the first larger Acro logo.
The current is too small...I see only that GoDaddy banner.
I am simply explaining the reasons behind the design, whereas the size and placement are outside my control.
Yeah I know this Theo I've asked to the staff.
That logo need to be a giant not that smaller...the first bigger logo was beautiful.
I found a bunny forum!
