The slogan has always been:

The Place to Talk Domains!

re: DNF slogan being: 'The Place to Talk Domains!'

...appears to be typo on www.DNForum.com splash lander

'The Place to Buy, Sell and Talk Domains!'

PS: *BUG*(?) - Maybe it's just me and I don't know what 'Multi-Quote' button is for, but it still doesn't do anything when I try and click it :S (I don't surf Forums much, so I don't even know what it would do, but can imagine.)

Vote: I like the red in the logo like it is, as it's one of the few truly Distinctive colours on the Forum - which is unique to the drawing the eye to logo and having it stand-out. That is, burns the branding in my eyes and brain better than if it were to be camouflaged into the blue like everything else. ...but I also agree, the deminutive size doesn't do justice to the forum/brand to have it so small, as if secondary to the advertising.

Plus, it matches the red boxed domain extension graphics on the splash lander DN = .com, .net, .eu etc.
Brings continuity from the splash page into the main forum. Curtains have feng shui with the carpet

The more things evolve with this latest changing of the emperors clothes, the sharper things are looking Keep evolving!

NostraDomainus - that's some great points about what makes logos work: if they are too much integrated within the web page, they won't stand out.

To use the bunny/kitten metaphor - when I picked my current black cat from several black kittens by the same mother cat, I chose the one that stood out; she was playful and was tapping a little toy around

Adam, you've got mail

It's a pretty badly done feature by vBulletin, granted.

Basically when you want to quote a multiple posts, you press that little button (and you can slightly see the "-" change to a "+" in the icon).

Then, when you are done with 'marking' the posts you want to quote - press "Reply" and the reply box will be fill with all the quotes you marked

So pressing the multi quote button won't have any noticeable effect (good usability VB ), although it will after you press "Reply"

Great example Acro - sticking-out from the crowd is what branding, and picking kitties, are all about!

I hope you dont get mad at me Acro, but I dont like the logo design.

It doesn't stand out or say anything to me, it's as though it's not even there.

You know what I mean?.

I have to say I am really liking the new logo....it is really tight.

My first reaction was that I liked it....and my opinion has only improved.
