DNForum.com CEO Featured in March Edition of Domain Name Journal
DNForum.com has quickly become the biggest and best online forum for website-related information.
Richmond Hill, Ontario (PRWEB) March 23, 2005 -- Adam Dicker, CEO of DNForum.com and High Impact Sites, was recently interviewed and featured in the March 2005 edition of Domain Name Journal. The article, titled “High Impact Sites: Inside Adam Dicker’s Domain Empire†by Editor Ron Jackson, highlighted Dicker’s wealth of domain experience and expertise, clearly obvious in the wild success of DNForum.com, the web’s largest forum of its kind and a “thriving online community visited daily by hundreds of domain fanatics.†The cover story is available for view in full at http://www.dnjournal.com/columns/cover030605.htm .
Originally launched for the domain industry three years ago, DNForum.com has grown into the premier online resource for website-related material, making it a necessary read for anyone who owns or runs a website. With 500,000 visitors a day and between two and three hundred people online at any given time, domain professionals and laymen alike can share tips, background knowledge and information on the web’s largest domain forum.
According to the article, “Dicker has gained a reputation as a guy who is always willing to share his knowledge and ideas for wringing more revenue from domain investments.†Although the site has changed hands and gone through several transformations since its inception, Dicker’s mission of success for the site has allowed for an extension of this vision. With a healthy listing of services and resources for everything from website design and development to e-commerce and Search Engine Optimization, DNForum.com serves as a meeting place and promotes furthered knowledge and success for anyone with a website.
As quoted in the article, Dicker explained, “My long term plans for the site are to keep developing new tools and new features to better prepare people to constantly increase their revenue through domains. We must stay focused on the business side of domains where people can interact in a professional forum where all of its members can share information and learn and all be profitable.â€

hehe I believe pageviews (forums are great that way, in generating views) -- uniques would have been an impossibility.![]()

Yes, there is a quite a large difference between page views and uniques none the less it's still a lot of traffic, imagine the number of hits per day. It's good to see DNF getting a fair amount of coverage. It truly is a great forum and it looks like with all of the new things happening it's only going to keep on getting better and better.
Thanks again Adam for putting so much effort into the forum!

Great line, DCG.Originally Posted by DotComGod
I think that's the crux of why we are all into domains. Having said that, many people continue to be hookwinked and manipulated of their sweat, effort and money by seemingly professional looking and sounding people who parasite and grow rich off the stupidity of others.
This is a highly profitable thing to do, by all extent. Hey, nobody said life was fair.
We all know knowledge, especially insider knowledge, is a gold mine. You will have no doubt noticed, that those who really know, keep knowledge to themselves, why share when the less people know about something, the better and more profitable the gains for yourself?
Having said that, it is clear that I know nuffin LOL

Adam -
Congrats on the press release and success of your forum. With all respect, there are a few other massive forums that also provide great resources for webmasters. I like to come to DNF for domain information, which is distinct from webmaster and marketing related issues. Do you have additional data to back up that you are the "biggest"? "Best" is relative, because for me, different forums are better for different reasons, and I visit them depending upon the type of information I'm seeking.
Congrats on your story and success.
Always buying quality websites
DNForum is the best for the majority here. It's great to hear it's the biggest
Long live DNForum!
Cogito, ergo sum!
I would agree that DNF is probably the biggest domain forum. But there is a distinction between being a domain forum and a webmaster or web marketing forum.
Always buying quality websites
For proof do an Alexa chart of the 3 main boards plotted together on a graph. You will see DNF with a commanding lead and uptrending. NP is lower and trending down, DS is even lower and downtrending since last summer.
no question DNF is the bigger of the three - I'm just keeping other webmaster related boards in mind as well - like WebmasterWorld (I have no interest or affiliation). WW is probably the biggest of all webmaster related forums.
Once again, congrats to Adam. This forum has really turned into something special under his direction. I've been a member of DNF for almost three years now, and I think it is better than ever.
Always buying quality websites

I just want to say that I absolutely LOVE this forum . And Adam, thank-you .
Sincerely,

Congrats!!
