Congradulations!!! Good Luck... I hope and know that you will do good in both, iREIT and dnforum.com! Although you live in Toronto, Canada and is familiar with cold, be careful when you first dip your toes in water, some water may be really cold and some may be warm, like me

Carlton, you hit the nail on the head. It is indeed about achieving a broader perspective, and Adam will certainly bring that. What blows my mind is why some other companies don’t see this, and instead assemble management teams composed of boring old guys when the bulk of innovation is coming from the younger crowd. Heck, DNForum wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for this younger crowd. It’s all about achieving the right balance, and they are off to a great start.

P.S. Linkfight is a nice and unique service. I noticed there is a virtual tie with another forum but dnf still edges np out in the overall stats by a small margin.

I guess I have to play devil's advocate here.

Adam, you are an executive VP at iReit AND you plan to ramp up this forum AND travel to Houston for two weeks a month?

Forgive me for saying so but something has to give unless the eVP is more of a long distance consulting position.

Also, I would guess that we will be seeing A LOT more iReit ads here at DNForum (which is fine with me).

The feel of DNForum will now change, am I right? As an employee of iReit you will have less time on your hands for development, management, etc. Also, I am guessing that iReit will now have some creative and editorial control of DNForum.

Don't kill the messenger but these are fair points I think.

After all, Monte took a lot of heat for selling/merging Moniker.

Their will be no preference given to iREIT than any other advertiser but yes that is a fair question.

The feel of Dnforum will not chnage by this, there will just be more we can avenues we can pursue to promote and build Dnforum.

You will not see a forum based on ads for iREIT everywhere.

I hope this answers some of your concerns.

To be clear, iREIT did not buy Dnforum.
