This is just a move to get more people to become exclusive... | I'm sorry you feel that way. Of course you're here for business and you know that any business depends on generating an income to survive. It must be nice for you to not need to increase your income now that you're retired and never have to work again. |

Whilst all information or services that are posted on the forum may not be available to all, basic information on the ground rules most certainly must be. Furthermore, it would be counter productive if they weren't.
I personally am now a Platinum Member, and I feel comfortable about this new priveledge for Exclusives. It must be remember that domaining and running forums are both businesses and both have a need to maximise returns. If a member is regularly selling more than 1 domain per day on this forum it is not unreasonable for him to contribute in a substantial way for the service.
I, however, do not feel second class, as due to the allegedly high calibre of my domains, I have no reall intention of attempting to achieve those kinds of turnovers. My intention is to hold on to as many as I can rather to sell them all! If that make me less than Exclusive that is fine by me.

Exclusive get everything and we get nothing :( If us platinum members are treated like this I would hate to be gold! This is unfair imo, We purchased access to post in those forums and if the restriction is lifted it should be lifted for us too...Ah well DNForum does what it likes, without thinking of the effect upon members, Sure some is for the better but what about things that are for the worse...
My two pence..would that get me another feature?
The above post is MY opinion and does not neccesarily reflect the views of other forum members, Feel free to agree or disagree with me. |

Country: | Re: RULE CHANGE: 24 Hours between posts The belly-achin' in this Thread makes me laugh as people become defensive over something they didn't even fully read or understand - yet assumed.
I'm sure people have heard the phrase: "Assumptions make an *** out of you"
While adding value to Exclusive memberships is DNF's prerogative, I find it funny how some members feel that adding value in one area is equal to taking away from them - when in reality, they still have exactly what they had when they paid for their memberships, and are free to upgrade at anytime - or not buy a membership at all. (Unless you live under a dictatorship which disallows such )
...and how ones feels about the calibre of their portfolio vs. the level of membership they hold here @ DNF is just emotional subjectiveness which is personal to the individual - and has NOTHING to do with DNF. I know people who are Exclusive members and hold NO domains - and they do not feel second class to no one.
"If you don't like what's on the TV - change the channel or turn it off."
No one is forcing anyone with life or death to join DNF - If you don't like getting what you paid for, then why did you pay for it in the first place?
...and maybe instead of belley-achin so much, put time and energy into selling your names and make the money you need to upgrade, and, as a tip:
Watch the Forum closely for the HUGE discounts (I've seen over 50% off!!)they regularly offer for Exclusive Upgrades and take advantage of it.
Now, I do realize sometimes people just need a cathartic release - so this is mine.
Best Success in Everyone's Endeavours! (even DNF ;-)) |

That way it makes it easier to do business at the same time everyday and not constantly push the hours you do business later and later... |

Please consider this an added exclusive perk and I hope this rule change increases your income.

Fortunately, the Management on here is a bit more enlightened than some of the membership and is actively pursuing ideas to bring about a workable solution that creates additional value to those members who are interested in IDN, whilst avoiding detracting from the experience of the predominant ASCII community, many of whom will probably eventually follow Adam's lead into investment in the Wonderful World of IDN.
I am sure any positive ideas that you might have on the subject will also be welcomed.
